Konami is set to host a games showcase later this week to share updates on its franchises. Konami Press Start Live will be livestreamed on June 12, the company announced on Monday. The broadcast will feature deep dives on two major upcoming Konami games — stealth espionage action title Meta Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and survival horror title Silent Hill f.
Konami Press Start Live Announced
Konami Press Start Live follows a string of video game showcase events in the past week. Sony held its State of Play presentation on June 4, followed by Summer Game Fest on June 6. Microsoft hosted a packed Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, where it confirmed the next Call of Duty.
“Join KONAMI for a broadcast of the latest information on new, upcoming titles like SILENT HILL f and METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER and MORE,” the description of the livestream reads. The stream will be 37 minutes long, the company has confirmed.
Konami’s livestream will also feature developers talking about the upcoming games. Press Start Live streams June 12 at 6 am PDT/ 9 am EDT, or 6:30 pm IST, on Konami’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
The broadcast will focus on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill f. Both games received new trailers at Sony’s State of Play livestream last week. The trailer for the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake showed new gameplay. It is set to launch on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X on August 28.
At State of Play, Konami also confirmed the release date for Silent Hill f and revealed gameplay from the upcoming title. The standalone Silent Hill spinoff launches across PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X on September 25.
In Silent Hill f, players are put into the shoes of high school student Shimizu Hinako, whose hometown Ebisugaoka descends into a nightmarish fog. Hinako must explore the town, face her fears and fight for her life against horrific monsters.
