Samsung was targeting the an early release of One UI 8 Watch for its Galaxy Watch Ultra. The beta testing of the WearOS 6-based One UI went live for the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 last month. The company was expected to announce the second beta this month. But now, in a very surprising move, it has pushed the stable update instead.

One UI 8 Now Available for Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra

A few users earlier today reported that Samsung has started pushing the One UI 8 Watch stable version to its top-of-the-line Galaxy Watch Ultra. However, there were no words from the brand at that time. But now, on an official press release, the Korean giant has confirmed the release of its One UI 8 Watch for its flagship wearable.

One UI 8 Watch was first released with the launch of Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). But, the company did not take a lot of time before releasing the latest user interface to last year’s flagship.

It Brings New Health Features to the Watch

For the users already enrolled in the beta testing program, the One UI 8 Watch update will weigh around 162MB. For the stable users, the update will be larger, 1.9GB, in size. The company is apparently pushing for full-user rollout as numerous users on T-Mobile and AT&T networks in the US have reported receiving the update.

With the update, the Galaxy Watch Ultra users can now enjoy a new Bedtime Guidance feature. To promote alertness, the Watch will intelligently analyse your sleep pressure and circadian rhythm and will recommend a sleep time. The Vascular Load will suggest steps to improve your heart health based on the stress levels on your circulatory system.

Another new feature is the Antioxidant Index that measures carotenoids, an antioxidant present on your skin.
