Google’s Pixel Buds 2a Look Sleek in Fresh Colors Before August Launch

At the end of last month, we shared an official render of the Pixel Buds 2a in a single color, Iris. Well, now we get to take a look at both Iris and Fog Light/Hazel colors of the Google Pixel Buds 2a, thanks to WinFuture. The source shared images of both color options, showing them from several sides.

The Google Pixel Buds 2a earbuds have just surfaced in two colors

The Iris color delivers a white case with lavender-colored internals, including the earbuds themselves. The Fog Light/Hazel color, we’re still not sure what name will Google use, delivers a white-colored case with dark gray/black internals compartment, which is the same color the earbuds themselves are using.

In the gallery above, you can see the Pixel Buds 2a in both of these colors across four images (each). That should give you an idea what to expect. Google is sticking with its well-known earbuds design here

The case itself will be egg-shaped, kind of, while the earbuds themselves will have small fins to better fit in your ear. You’ll have to rotate them a bit after placing them in your ear in order to “lock” them.

Both the case and the earbuds will be made out of plastic, that much is obvious. You’ll also notice an LED indicator on the outside part of the earbuds case. That indicator will show you when the earbuds are in pairing mode, connected, low on battery, etc.

They will launch on August 20

The Pixel Buds 2a are said to offer 20 hours of battery life, case charges counted in. Counting only the earbuds themselves, each of them will be able to offer 7 hours of battery life.

Just to be clear, the battery life is calculated with the presumption that ANC is on. Yes, ANC will be a part of the package here, which was not the case with the original Pixel Buds A series earbuds.

These earbuds will become official during Google’s August 20 Pixel event. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold will also launch, along with the Pixel Watch 4.
