Battlefield 6’s first trailer is a shot of adrenaline to the franchise
July 24, 2025 | by Admin

Battlefield 6 has received its first official trailer on the morning of July 24, and it paints a picture of what players can expect for the overall theme of the game’s campaign mode. Yes, Battlefield 6 will have a campaign mode, unlike the current entry, Battlefield 2042, which was focused entirely on driving narrative through seasonal content patches for the game’s multiplayer.
While there’s still much that’s unclear about the game’s story, today’s trailer gives viewers a taste of what’s to come. A private military force known as Pax Armata appears to have attacked New York City. The trailer, which begins with the President addressing the nation, calls out Pax Armata and tells them, “It’s over.” As if to say that the US military will be dispatched to take them down. Presumably, you, as the player, will be part of that elite squad. The trailer then proceeds to show off several more cinematics.
The Battlefield 6 trailer doesn’t mention anything about the beta
Prior to the trailer being released this morning, there was some speculation that information about the beta might be included. That, unfortunately, isn’t the case. The trailer is purely the official worldwide reveal for the game’s main story mode. That being said, there is a silver lining.
EA has confirmed that there will be a multiplayer reveal for Battlefield 6 on July 31. So, it’s likely that we could hear something about the rumored beta test alongside that reveal. Current rumors peg the beta happening sometime around August 4. That’s only about 10 days away, so it would make sense to have beta information pop up as part of the multiplayer reveal. Seeing as multiplayer is what the beta will be for.
You can now wishlist the game on Steam
It’s going to be a while before you can play the game properly, but you can get a head start on the whole thing by wishlisting the game. It’s up for wishlist right now on Steam and other platforms, which will include PS5, Xbox Series X, and the Epic Games Store. Battlefield 6 is suspected to be launching on October 10, and that makes a beta in August that much more likely. As the official launch would only be a couple more months later. No doubt, EA and Battlefield Studios will want to have some more player testing done before then.
That being said, EA has already done some testing for the game as part of its Battlefield Labs initiative. This has helped shape the game and will help shape future Battlefield games going forward.
