Flagship phones these days are incredibly expensive. Paying over $1,000 for a smartphone that would be considered “outdated” a year later is a huge ask. This is why Chinese-made phones tend to be more popular, typically offering better value at lower prices. If you’re shopping for a phone that could be good value for money, a leaked benchmark of the Galaxy S25 FE could make the case for it.

Galaxy S25 FE’s GPU and AI benchmark leak

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE soon. Now, thanks to the benchmark of the Galaxy S25 FE shared on X by Abhishek Yadav, we know how it could perform. For its Open CL GPU benchmark, the phone scored 13,776 points. For AI scores, it nabbed 2,124 points for Single Precision, 2,039 for Half Precision, and 3,009 for Quantized.

This suggests that it should be more than capable of handling tasks with Samsung’s Galaxy AI. For context, those scores are in line with the Galaxy S24 FE’s Exynos 2400e chipset. Seeing as how AI is becoming a differentiating factor in phones these days, it’s important for handset makers to not only give it to their flagships but also their budget and mid-range offerings as well.

What we know so far

Earlier rumors suggested that the Galaxy S25 FE could be powered by the Samsung Exynos 2400e chipset. However, these benchmarks suggest that it could run on the Exynos 2400 instead. The phone is also rumored to come with 8GB of RAM, similar to past FE releases. However, a bump to 12GB in this day and age would be nice.

As for its cameras, the Galaxy S25 FE could pack a 12MP front-facing camera. It is rumored to use the same sensor in the Galaxy S25 models, so users should expect images of a similar quality. On the back, the phone could come with a 50MP main, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto.

We’re also looking at a potential 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the rumors claim that Samsung could shrink the bezels compared to past FE models, so it should feel slightly smaller in your hands. Last but not least, we could see the use of a 4,700mAh battery with Android 16 out of the box.
