Google is making it easy to clean up Call Notes on your Pixel phones. The company is adding a new auto-delete option. For those unaware, the Call Notes feature debuted alongside the Pixel 9 series last year. It can record, transcribe, and summarize phone calls. Google Pixel users are now reporting that the auto-delete feature is available on their phones.

Google’s Call Notes auto-delete feature comes to the Pixel 9 series

The auto-delete feature allows you to automatically delete your Call Notes after a specified period of time. You can reportedly set the app to delete Call Notes after seven days, fourteen days, or thirty days. This is handy, especially if you make or receive a lot of phone calls. You can clear out the lengthy Call Notes. However, you may not want to enable this feature if there are a few Call Notes that you wish to keep.

The Google Call Notes feature is only available in the US. We hope it expands to more regions. Meanwhile, Samsung’s Call Transcript feature, which debuted on the Galaxy S25 series, is available in multiple markets and offers a similar functionality.

Call Notes makes it easy to remember a conversation

Call Notes is a part of Google’s Call Assist suite of tools. As the name suggests, it will create an AI-generated summary of your phone calls. The feature is useful in remembering the call conversation when you don’t have a paper handy to jot down the information.

The latest summary of key details discussed during the call pops up when you tap the contact in the Google Phone. You can expand the view to show a full transcript of the conversation if the summary doesn’t have the information you’re looking for. The Call Notes feature also allows you to copy the summary and share it with friends or family.
