Google Pixel Wireless Charger Is coming—Is This Google’s MagSafe Moment?

Google seems to be getting ready to announce the ‘Pixel Wireless Charger’. The information comes from Arsene Lupin, as he shared the information via X.

In that post, he mentions the company’s new wireless charger, and a ‘Google Pixel Charger’ in Rock Candy aka white color. That one is not as interesting, but the wireless one, well, it makes us wonder. He did not share an image of it, though, the image you see above is just a concept.

If we had to guess, we’d say that the Pixel Wireless Charger is actually a charging puck-type charger. In other words, this thing will likely be very similar to Apple’s MagSafe charger.

So, don’t get this confused with the Pixel Stand. We’re looking at two completely different types of chargers. Considering that the Pixel 10 series will also support Qi2, along with magnets (case required), this could also be a magnetic charger. We’re only guessing, though.

The Pixel Buds 2a are seemingly also incoming

Arsene Lupin also talked about the Google Pixel Buds 2a, which we reported on recently. Those will also launch alongside the Google Pixel 10 series, it would seem, and will arrive in four color options.

If the provided information is to be believed, they’ll be arriving in Hazel, Fog Light, Iris, and Strawberry color options. Needless to say, these will be Google’s new budget, truly wireless earbuds.

First-gen Pixel Buds a were really popular, for a good reason. They were quite comfortable, and offered good sound output, while you didn’t have to break the bank to get them.

So, in addition to announcing four Pixel 10 smartphones, Google will also announce earbuds and some accessories. Based on the latest information, the company will make all of those devices official on August 20. As a reminder, the Pixel 9 series was also announced in August, last year.
