Now that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is official, the only thing left to wait for is its actual arrival, and that won’t be a long wait now that you can pre-order the watch. Those who pre-order should receive the watch by July 25. That means it should start shipping just a few days before that. As Samsung’s latest smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is ushering in some new features while also bringing back some fan-favorites. We’re, of course, talking about the rotating bezel when referring to the fan-favorites. It’s just such an easy way to navigate the UI.
As for new features, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will be one of the first watches to come with Wear OS 6. It’ll be available on the watch right out of the box. Because of this, it will also come with Google Gemini out of the box, allowing for more hands-free capabilities. Another new feature is the Now Bar. The Now Bar itself isn’t completely new. It’s been available since the launch of the Galaxy S25 series.
However, it is new to the Galaxy Watch ecosystem and is part of the additions coming with One UI 8 Watch. The Now Bar is great because it adds a layer of glanceability that just isn’t there without it. All of this and more, including the new squircle-shaped design, is part of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic experience.
It comes in one size, which is 46mm, and it starts at $499.99. Although there are several promotions going on for it at present. By far, the best promotions are available directly through Samsung. If you pre-order through our link, you get a special $50 instant credit that applies to the price of the watch. Samsung is also offering up to $250 off with the trade-in of an old watch. That’s a potential for $300 off, which would bring the price down to $199.99. Now, pre-orders are first-come, first-served, and the $50 credit expires 30 minutes after clicking our link. So you’ll have to act fast. You can also pre-order elsewhere, such as at carriers. So, Samsung isn’t your only choice.
Where to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic
Since we’ve already linked to Samsung up above, we’ll focus on other places where you can pre-order one of Samsung’s latest smartwatches. You’ll find those other options below.

Amazon
Amazon is one of the first places people are likely to think about grabbing this watch and rightfully so. Amazon is universally known across the globe because it’s such a massive online marketplace. For the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, Amazon isn’t doing any sort of credits or trade-in discounts, unfortunately. That means you’ll be paying full price for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. However, Amazon is giving you a $100 Amazon gift card if you pre-order. That $100 can be spent on other products on Amazon. Whether it’s something for your new watch, or something else entirely. You aren’t walking away with nothing. Plus, Amazon ships lightning-fast. So, there’s a good chance you’ll get your watch very quickly after it begins to ship.

Verizon
Verizon is another place you can pre-order the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic if you prefer to pick up your devices directly from your carrier, or if you simply want the LTE model connected to Verizon’s network. Worth noting, of course, is that you can get the LTE version for Verizon through Samsung. Some food for thought. With that said, Verizon’s promotion is pretty simple. You’ll save $370 off the regular price if you pre-order a Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7. The savings are contingent upon pre-ordering this phone as well.

AT&T
AT&T has slightly better deals than Verizon if you’re looking at switching and you want to make the watch a part of your transition. For starters, you can get savings on the watch if you pre-order the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7. However, this isn’t required. AT&T actually has a promotion where if you pre-order the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, you can save $100 off the price. To get this savings, you will need to pre-order the watch, place it on an installment plan and add an eligible data plan to it. You can do this without the phone pre-order which makes it a little bit better of a promotion.

T-Mobile
T-Mobile is also going to be carrying the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and its promotion for it is pretty decent if you’re a T-Mobile subscriber or thinking about becoming one. Keep in mind that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic LTE model is $549.99. If you pre-order through T-Mobile, you can save $400 on that price by adding a new watch line to your account and breaking up the watch payments into an installment plan. T-Mobile will then split that $400 savings over monthly bill credits. In the end, you pay just $150 for the new Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and that’s a pretty good price.
