New Insta360 Go Ultra Details Leak Ahead of Possible IFA 2025 Launch
August 14, 2025 | by Admin

If you’re looking for a new action camera that can capture 360-degree videos, you might have heard of Insta360. The company is rumored to be getting ready to launch its new Insta360 Go Ultra camera, and now, thanks to a post on WinFuture.de, additional details of the camera have emerged.
Insta360 Go Ultra details
First off, let’s talk about size. According to the details of the post, the Insta360 Go Ultra measures 30mm on each side. It also weighs a mere 53 grams, making it perfect to bring with you on your travels. It is heavier compared to the competition, but it should still be light enough to feel negligible for most users.
Secondly, let’s look at the camera capabilities of the device. The post claims that the camera will feature a new 1/1.28-inch sensor. This allows the camera to capture 4K videos at 60 fps. This doubles the framerate of the company’s previous Go 3s camera. There are other features like stabilization and horizon lock, Active HDR at 4K at 30 fps, and a new Action Pod dock. This includes a flip-up screen that can either be used for live previews or double up as a wireless remote.
The camera will also feature a magnetic mount for display housing and a portable pendant. Last but not least, it supports fast charging. It will apparently get back up to 80% battery with just 10 minutes of charging.
This more or less confirms what we know based on our previous exclusive leak. Our previous report also revealed that it will be available in either a black or white finish.
Pricing & availability
Unfortunately, we don’t know when the new Insta360 Go Ultra will launch. However, IFA is taking place next month. That is the perfect opportunity for companies like Insta360 to make an official announcement. It could be announced earlier or later than that, so we’ll have to wait and see.
As for how much it will cost? It’s worth noting that the Insta360 Go 3s is priced at $400. This means there’s a good chance the new UItra model could see similar pricing. However, given the propensity of tech companies to increase prices with each generation, don’t be surprised if the new model ends up costing more.
