The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 series had an Ultra laptop, termed the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra. It had the top-of-the-line specification among other members of the series. However, the company skipped the Ultra model with the Book 5 series. But it is now reportedly bringing it back with the new Galaxy Book 6 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Series is in the works
The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 series might hit the market in early 2026, if we follow the typical release timeline of the predecessors. This gives us a rough estimate that we are about eight months ahead of the official launch. It looks like a lot from a consumer’s perspective, but for the brand, the gap is relatively minor.
SamMobile has added in its latest report that Samsung has started working on the Galaxy Book 6 series of laptops. While it’s normal for any brand to start work on a new model 8 to 10 months before its planned launch, the exciting news is that the Galaxy Book Ultra is being revived. We can expect to see the all-new Galaxy Book 6 Ultra laptop in the near future.
Galaxy Book 6 Ultra specifications remain unknown
This is still the very initial phase of the development. So, we don’t have many details about the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra yet. Its specifications are still a mystery. However, the last Galaxy Book Ultra had only one major change compared to the rest of the models in the series: a dedicated GPU.
If Samsung follows suit with the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, we can expect it to have a dedicated GPU as well. The rest of the models will get the integrated GPU options. This makes it easy for the consumer to differentiate between the models. The base model will target students and working professionals, whereas the Ultra model will target performance-hungry users. But anyway, it is still too early to draw any conclusion. Let’s wait to hear some major updates in the coming days.
