We knew that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is selling better than the Galaxy S24 series, and now we have some numbers to back that up. The information you’ll see in this article is based on the numbers from the end of June.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 sales are crushing the numbers its predecessors provided

Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, says that Samsung sold 20.22 million Galaxy S25 smartphones by the end of June. That’s a 12.2% increase compared to the Galaxy S24 series (the same period). In other words, Samsung sold 2.20 million more units in comparison.

Needless to say, that’s a considerable improvement for the company. What’s more, all Galaxy S25 models showed a notable YoY (Year-over-Year) growth. The vanilla Galaxy S25 actually achieved the highest growth rate of 11.6%.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is still the best-selling model, however. Samsung has sold 640,000 more Galaxy S25 Ultra units than Galaxy S24 Ultra units in the same period last year (+7.1%).

The Galaxy S25 Edge contributed 650,000 units to these numbers

Some of you are probably wondering about the Galaxy S25 Edge sales. Well, based on this information, Samsung managed to sell 650,000 units within one month. As a reminder, the Galaxy S25 Edge launched later on, not at the same time as the other Galaxy S25 models.

Either way, the Galaxy S25 Edge definitely contributed to the sales numbers. With it, the company was able to cross the 20-million mark by the end of June.

Based on this information, the Galaxy S25 series can be considered a considerable success for Samsung. The Galaxy S24 sales were not bad, but this is a considerable improvement. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 are allegedly off to a good start, so it will be interesting to see the numbers after a couple of months.
