The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is here, and once again, Samsung has introduced some pretty major updates to its flip phone, including the colors. It’s getting a larger cover display at 4.1 inches, as well as a larger inner display at 6.9 inches. And it’s the thinnest flip Samsung has ever made.
When it comes to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 colors, it’ll be available in four colors: Coralred, Jet Black, Shadow Blue, and the Samsung.com exclusive Mint. These are all available for pre-order right now, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 release date is set for July 25. This has far fewer colors compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which was available in seven bright colors. That seems to be a trend this year among all of Samsung’s flagship devices, offering fewer color options, but the color options are still quite good.
Powered by the Exynos 2500
This is the first time that Samsung has used an Exynos chipset to power a foldable worldwide, and it’s the new Exynos 2500. Which, from our initial hands-on, seemed to be pretty fine. Though it is obviously not as good as the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Along with the Exynos 2500, it also has 12GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage, and a pretty massive 4,300mAh capacity battery. That’s almost the same size battery as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is a much larger device, surprisingly.
Surprisingly, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is the only product announced today by Samsung that did not get a price increase. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Watch 8, and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic all received price increases. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 price remains at $1,099, which is pretty fair for what you’re getting here.
