Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 May Show Up Later Than We Thought

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 could launch later than expected. According to some new information shared by a tipster, the two phones will launch in mid-July, not in early July.

A report from Korea, back from April, suggested that the devices will arrive in “early July” during a New York event. The new info comes from Ricciolo, a tipster, who says that a “mid-July” announcement is coming. He did not mention a location, though.

In his post on X, he did say that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will offer “better camera”, “more screen”, be “slimmer”, have “better stamina”, and come with a “higher price” tag.

We shared the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 first. And yes, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be thinner than its predecessor. In fact, it will be considerably thinner.

There’s not much information about the phone’s cameras, so that’s not something we can comment on. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have larger displays, that’s true, and that goes for both its main and cover panels.

Better battery life, cameras, and more are tipped

The “better stamina” part refers to the phone’s battery life. So, based on what Ricciolo said, we can expect battery life from the phone. The “higher price” teaser is unfortunate. Some rumors claimed that the price will remain the same in most markets, so… it remains to be seen what will happen.

Both of these smartphones are coming in July, though, that’s much is certain. The only info that we still don’t have is the exact launch date. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 FE aka Fold FE will come alongside those two phones, allegedly. The company’s first tri-fold smartphone, which was also rumored, will likely launch later in the year. That one will likely be limited to Korea and possibly China.
