Some OnePlus 13s Units Reportedly Showing Green Line Display Issues

Back in June, OnePlus announced its latest phone for the Indian market called the OnePlus 13s. The phone has recently started shipping out to customers, but it seems that it didn’t take long for users to run into issues. According to a post on Reddit by u/blackarrow3839, their OnePlus 13s has a green line running through the display of their phone.
OnePlus 13s green line issue
According to the user, “Recently bought OnePlus 13s. A few days ago, a green line appeared on my phone for a few seconds and then disappeared. Yesterday, the green line appeared again in the same place and stayed until I restarted the device.”
The user said they recorded the problem, but when they took it to the OnePlus service center, they were told that because the recording doesn’t show the IMEI number of the phone, they couldn’t replace it. Instead, they retrieved some logs and told the user to monitor it for the next few days.

The issue is that OnePlus has a 15-day replacement policy. When the user asked what happens if the green line appears on their OnePlus 13s after the 15-day window, they were told they can’t do anything about it due to it being the company’s policy. However, keep in mind that OnePlus introduced a policy in 2024 where it gave users a lifetime warranty against green line issues.
This means that owners can still get their display fixed, but it’ll be a hassle. It’s also not what we would expect from a phone that’s practically brand-new out of the box.
What is the OnePlus 13s?
For those who are unfamiliar with the OnePlus 13s, it is basically a rebranded version of the OnePlus 13T. However, it isn’t just a change in branding. Unlike the OnePlus 13T (6,260mAh), the OnePlus 13s comes with a slightly smaller 5,850mAh battery. It might sound like a downgrade, but honestly, it’s still a highlighting figure.
This is more so when you think about phones that are similarly sized. This includes the base Galaxy S25, which only packs a 4,000mAh battery and slower charging speeds. OnePlus’ phone also features a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and 12GB of RAM. At the moment, the OnePlus 13s is only available in India. The company did not mention anything about launching it in the US or EU, so don’t expect to see it anytime soon.
